As Senior Construction Manager, you'll lead complex healthcare construction projects in Pleasanton, CA, and it is onsite five days a week. This is a high-visibility role managing scope, schedule, and budget for initiatives ranging from major ground-up builds to intricate renovations. Success means driving collaboration across contractors, architects, and regulatory agencies while ensuring safety and compliance.
What You'll Do:
Oversee all onsite construction activities
Review design submittals, RFIs, contracts, and change orders
Manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication
Ensure compliance with California healthcare regulations
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of construction experience preferred (healthcare in CA strongly preferred)
Expertise in large-scale projects ($100M+)
Strong negotiation, coordination, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

A Brief OverviewThe Senior Construction Manager is primarily responsible for advocating Stanford Health Care's interests by over-seeing construction, executed by a general contractor, during all phases of construction. Extensive knowledge of both new construction and renovation practices is required. The Senior Construction Manager oversees multiple projects at once and communicates directly with the management team. The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for ensuring completion of construction projects within budget, on schedule, meeting all program objectives and applicable regulations while providing leadership, coordination and support to Project and Construction Managers, and construction trades specific to a construction project.LocationsStanford Health CareWhat you will do
